Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with 1.3 million members in approximately 45,000 clubs in 200 countries and geographical areas.

Lions clubs are recognized worldwide for their service to the blind and visually impaired. SightFirst, the Lions' most comprehensive effort, was established in 1990. SightFirst is a $200 million-plus global initiative to rid the world of preventable and reversible blindness.
